Bartek Brosz

Bio

Bartek Brosz is an illustrator, author of books for children. He was born in 1974 in Gdańsk. He learned drawing during art classes under the supervision of Mirosława Smerek Bielecka and Tadeusz Piotrowski from Olsztyn. He continued his drawing education while studying architecture at the Gdańsk University of Technology.

He made his debut as an illustrator while still in high school in 1991 in Gazeta Olsztyńska. Later, he collaborated with Dziennik Bałtycki, Gazeta Współczesna, Wirtualna Polska, Onet.pl and Operon publishing house. Currently, he cooperates with the publishing house Adamada, the Gdańsk Educational Publishing House (GWO), Presscom publishing house. Literatura publishing house.

He is the author of books for children and illustrations for dozens of books and school textbooks. As a graphic designer, he participated in the creation of many board and computer games.

Apart from drawing, his passion is music. He composes and writes song lyrics. He is the author of illustrative music for several computer games and for the animated film "Piglets". His first band is the Tri-City band Pomidory. He currently plays with the bands The Waterforge  and The Paperbags.

He lives with his family and cat in Gdańsk-Wrzeszcz.
